Ability to Display mandatory fields

Introduce clearer visual indicators for mandatory fields throughout the system, allowing users to easily identify which information must be completed before submitting a form or progressing to the next stage.

This functionality could include:

• Asterisks (*) beside required fields

• Colour highlighting

• “Required Field” labels

• Real-time validation prompts before submission

The feature would be particularly useful on larger forms such as project creation, permit applications, onboarding workflows, and configuration screens where users may not immediately know which information is compulsory.

Problem Statement

Currently, users may only discover mandatory fields after attempting to submit a form, which can create confusion, additional clicks, and unnecessary delays when completing workflows.

For example, when creating a new project, users may complete most of the form only to then receive validation errors highlighting missing required information.

Suggested Improvement

Add visible indicators to all mandatory fields across forms and workflows so users can clearly identify required information before submission.
