Contractor Credential File Replacement

Contractors need to be able to delete uploaded files. i.e, for Contractors All Risk Insurance I have multiple docs & would like to remove the ones that have been superseded. I have also uploaded some items into the wrong sections so again, we need some basic editorial ability.

Allow Portal Users to delete or remove uploaded documents

As a contractor/portal user, I want to be able to delete or remove a document that I uploaded in error, so that I can correct mistakes without having to contact the client or host organisation.

Hi Arran, Thanks for the feedback and product suggestion. It’s really helpful for us to understand what portal users would like to see from the system and how they expect these processes to work.

Would you see this as something that any portal user should be able to complete, or would this functionality only be available to the main company contact?

Thanks for the suggestion. I can certainly understand the benefit of having some basic ability to manage documents, particularly where you have uploaded multiple versions of something such as Contractors All Risk Insurance, or where a document has accidentally been uploaded into the wrong section.

It would be useful to understand a little more about how you would expect this to work in practice. For example, would you expect to be able to permanently delete documents yourself, or would you simply want the ability to remove them from the current view where they have been superseded or uploaded incorrectly?

One thing we would also need to consider is that some documents may need to be retained by the client for compliance and audit purposes, even once they have been superseded. We would therefore need to make sure that any document management functionality doesn't remove information that the client may still need to evidence retrospectively.

If you can give me a little more detail on how you would ideally like this to work, I can make sure we capture the requirement correctly for consideration.

    Kind regards,
    Kelly
